Welcome to Karaka Tree Motel Taupo we have 12 Spa Studios which are located upstairs and 11 One Bedroom Spa Suites and 1 Two bedroom spa suite with disability facilities which are located on the ground floor. All rooms are serviced daily and are non-smoking. Check-in is 2pm and check-out is 10am. You are welcome to host visitors until 10pm.
Every room is extremely spacious and the One and Two Bedroom Spa Suites offers a separate bedroom and lounge area, as well as a private courtyard area with your fabulous geothermal mineral water hot spa pool and attractive outdoor table and chairs. The Spa Studio has a separate room with a geothermal mineral hot spa pool. All rooms have an en-suite with a vanity & walk-in shower cubicle.
Just bring your food and personal items, everything else we have in your room.
Mineral Spa Studios have one queen bed. All have en-suites with a shower, irons, hairdryer, tea/coffee, kitchenettes, TV x 10 channels, Sky TV, microwaves and direct dial phones and wireless broadband access. Plus your on private mineral spa pool in a seperate room. Take the Taupo bypass road for 10km. This will be the 3rd exit for the Napier-Taupo Rd. Turn right heading into Taupo travel to the end of the road and turn left. We are the second driveway on the left.
If you have come into Taupo town centre keep driving on Lake Road, We are 2kms down this road 85 metres after the turnoff for the Napier-Taupo rd.
At the roundabout for the Taupo bypass take the 1st exit onto State Hwy 5 and drive for 4km approx 5 minutes. We are on the right hand side.
If you take the Taupo bypass drive until the first exit ( Napier - Taupo rd and turn left. Travel to the end of the road and turn left. We are the second driveway on the left.
